Justin's new scoot

Justin's 1970 Triumph T120R Bonneville. She's pretty much stock with a couple inches of drop. There are a few things to sort out, but she runs like a top.

Look Ma...

Sportbike Rio, foolin'.

Fixed Gear

Justin's fixed conversion. Built at the same time as mine, and just as much of a money-pit.

Justin Townes Earle

Got a couple of this guy's records the other day. For your listening pleasure I've put one on the lil' music player here on the blog. He's Steve Earle's son, but his music is a great trip in the WAAaaaayyy-Back Machine.

Enjoy, and then go get ya some.

John Edwards in Street Chopper

Picked up the new issue of Street Chopper, and as usual it was chock full of rad. Highlights were John Edwards '52 Pan and Eric Webb's Shovel.

Ashes of American Flags

Everyone has a band that they grew up with. You know the deal, you may have bought their first record and then stuck with them as they rode the sophomore wave and "grew up". Maybe they quit or broke up, maybe they kept going. But a small group of bands challenge their fans with each new release. Wilco is that band for me. They have been called the most important band in America right now, and I think that is almost an understatement. They are often compared with Radiohead, but in my opinion , where Radiohead took a detour into electronic freakouts and got sidetracked Wilco found their feet. The music is always grounded and approachable and yet they take it places you never anticipate.

My Ashes of American flags DVD arrived yesterday. I'm very happy.

Opinions please...

I'm in the planning stages of a Triumph build, and saw this on my Friday blog-trawl over at C.O.C. Anyone want to guess at the stretch and drop in that frame? Thanks for the help.
